The number of people using the internet in the country is over 28,449,324. This means, around 18.2% of people of the entire population have internet access.
And, the four mobile phone operators in Bangladesh, called Banglalink, Grammenphone, Tele Talk, and Robi efficiently provide rapid internet connection for mobile users.
Besides, over 10,237,003 people use broadband connections, depicting 6 out of 100 inhabitants.
However, as the industry is on rapid growth, more people will adopt a broadband internet connection very soon.
According to a report published in June 2020, Android holds a maximum share of Bangladesh’s mobile operating system market.
Apple’s operating system iOS’s market share is second, but it holds only 2.65%. Windows is far behind, with only 0.08%.
Hence, through this report, it is highly assumed that Bangladeshis mostly prefer Android smartphones.
